The LA Clippers were already a tough basketball team without James Harden. But Harden arrived and has changed the landscape. He has been moving the ball around at a great rate, putting his scoring at 2, and his ability to move the ball around as his number one priority, as a true PG. Not relying as much on his one-on-one scoring. This year he’s only been putting up 11 shots per game. Putting up 7 three-point shots /game – which is 59% of the FGA that he takes. His lethal ability to knock down a jumper behind the arc is what the Clippers are taking full advantage of. His 3p shooting has been amazing. His ability to drain the ball from deep, travels on the road, hitting 42% at home and then also knocking down 42% on the road. He is a player with an elite skill set, with the ability to shoot, get rebounds, and find the open man.

Pass distribution has become his number one priority in the back court. Which makes the Clippers a much more dangerous team. LA plays best when he’s moving the ball around, as of this article, they win 83% of the time when he has 8 or more assists. He had focused more on the playmaking side of things. By doing that, it allows George and Kawhi to carry the offense as scorers. He is far and away the best playmaker the Leonard / George duo has had in the years they have been together in the NBA.
